DESCRIPTION: An exquisite antique Victorian 9ct gold metal core bangle, with a curb link pattern on both faces. The item has a 9ct metal core, this means it has a thick outer layer of 9ct gold, bonded onto base metal. It's 1/5th thick, therefore 1/5th 9ct and 4/5th base metal. To give you an idea it's about 4 times thicker than rolled gold/gold filled. The internal width is approx. 5.9cm or 2.3", therefore your wrist needs to be thinner than that to fit. The total weight is approx. 8.36g. The item isn't stamped/hallmarked but tests as 9ct metal core. The bangle has some deep scratch marks on the inside face where someone has filed it for testing, see pictures/video.
