DESCRIPTION: A beautiful antique Victorian solid 14kt yellow gold locket, finished with seed pearls and a chased frame. The locket opens/closes well and has the original glass front. It weighs approx. 11.88g and the size dimensions are in the latter photos. The item has some base metal elements to it and the inside has been lead lined, likely an old repair (see pictures). The glass frame is base metal and the internal frame has a base metal rim. Therefore, not all the metal weight is solid 14k gold, but the item still has a substantial amount of 14k gold on it. The engine turned section on the rear and the chased sections are 14k gold. As to be expected with the items age, it isn't stamped/hallmarked, it tests for solid 14k gold. It has some dark marks on the engine turned rear (see pictures).
