DESCRIPTION: A beautiful and large antique Victorian specimen brooch, made from genuine banded agate (100% tested) and mounted in a solid 9ct 375 rose gold frame. The frame is ornately engraved with an intricate pattern on the edge. The gold isn't isn't hallmarked which is a good sign on age, it tests for solid 9ct 375 gold. The inner rim of the rear, hinge, clasp and pin are base metal. There are some scratches and marks on the face of the gemstone as to be expected with age, see pictures. I've reduced the price accordingly.
