DESCRIPTION: A beautiful antique 9ct gold back and front oval locket, adorned with a genuine amethyst (100% tested) and seed pearls. This locket is not rolled gold, its a 9ct solid gold front and back. This means the front and back of the locket are solid 9ct gold sheets, mounted onto a base metal middle frame, hinge and bail. The item opens/closes well and has the original glass on one side (message me if you want me to open the glass before posting, as it can be a bit tricky). The locket weighs approx. 8.20g and the size dimensions are in the latter photos. As to be expected with the items age and design, it isn't stamped/hallmarked, it tests as explained above. There are some marks and scratches on the item as to be expected with age and use.
