DESCRIPTION: A stunning antique Victorian book locket, with a solid 9ct 375 gold back/front finished with a blue enamel crucifix. It opens/closes well and has the original glass on one side. It weighs approx. 4.22g and the size dimensions are in the later photos. To confirm, the locket has a solid 9ct gold sheet on the front and back (the engine turned sections) with rolled gold frame, hinge, bail and jump ring. It isn't stamped/hallmarked, but tests as explained above. The enamel is all present, it has some marks and rubbing on it as to be expected with age and use. PLEASE NOTE: The rear face has a old lead repair near the hinge, it looks like it developed a fracture at some point and has been repaired with lead (see pictures/video). I've reduced the price accordingly.
