DESCRIPTION: A stunning antique solid 9ct 375 gold back and front locket, adorned with a genuine diamond (100% tested). The item is stamped "REAL GOLD", weighs approx. 5.62g and the size dimensions are in the later photos. It has the picture retaining shims on both sides and closes tightly. To confirm, the item is a 9ct gold back and front locket, this means the outer shell of the front and back are a sheet off solid 9ct gold, fitted onto a rolled gold frame. The inner frame, hinge and bail are made from rolled gold. This was a common way for antique lockets to be crafted, it made them cheaper then an all gold locket and more durable as the innards wear made from harder base metal. PLEASE NOTE: The item has some tarnishing/stains on the rear and some minor dents/bulges in areas (see pictures/video).
