DESCRIPTION: A beautiful antique Victorian 9ct gold front and back heart locket, adorned with a garnet and seed pearls in a star settings. This locket is not rolled gold, it is a 9ct 375 solid gold front and back. This means the front and back of the locket are solid 9ct gold, mounted onto a rolled gold base metal frame, hinge and bail. It opens/closes well and has its original metal retaining shim for one side. It weighs approx. 3.30g and the size dimensions are in the later photos. As to be expected with the items age and type, it isn't stamped/hallmarked, it tests as explained above. The inside has some green Verdigris and dark marks which are difficult to clean (see pictures/video).
