DESCRIPTION: A beautiful antique 9ct gold front and back heart locket, adorned with a beautiful opal and 4 iolite gemstones. This locket is not rolled gold, it is a 9ct 375 solid gold front and back. This means the front and back of the locket are solid 9ct gold, mounted onto a rolled gold base metal frame, hinge and bail. It opens/closes well and has its original metal retaining shims for both sides. It weighs approx. 4.00g and the size dimensions are in the later photos. As to be expected with the items age and type, it isn't stamped/hallmarked, it tests as explained above. I'm not sure if the gemstones are original, they may be later replacements. PLEASE NOTE: The item has numerous small dents on the faces, see pictures/video. I've altered the price accordingly.
