DESCRIPTION: A stunning and large antique solid 9ct gold back and front heart locket, adorned with seed pearls in a crucifix shape. It opens and close well and has it's original picture retaining shim on side. The item weighs approx. 4.37g and the size dimensions are in the later photos. It isn't stamped/hallmarked but tests as explained above. The internals are made from gold gilt base metal. To confirm, the outer shell is made from solid 9ct gold, not rolled gold. As to be expected with age and use, there are some minor dents and marks in areas, see pictures. The inside of the locket has mourning hair inside, if you want me to remove it, just ask. The see thru cover over the hair has yellowed with age.
