DESCRIPTION: A sweet antique Victorian solid 9ct gold swallow bird brooch, adorned with a genuine amethyst and seed pearls. The item tests for solid 9ct gold and I can make out a gold hallmark date letter for 1897. The item weighs approx. 3.48g and the size dimensions are in the latter photos. The pin, hinge and clasp are base metal. PLEASE NOTE: The hinge, clasp and top rear of the bow decoration have old lead repairs to them (see pictures/video). The amethyst setting has a few of teeth missing. I've altered the price accordingly.
