DESCRIPTION: A stunning antique Victorian solid 9ct gold back and front locket, with a hand vertical chequered pattern on both faces. The item weighs approx. 4.48g and opens/closes well. The size dimensions are in the later photos. To confirm, this item is not rolled gold, it has a solid 9ct 375 gold sheet on the front and back, with gold gilt internals. As to be expected with its age, it isn't stamped/hallmarked, it tests for 9ct gold back and front. PLEASE NOTE: There looks like a fracture near the hinge has been repaired with lead, see pictures/video. The inside of the locket has been leaded to repair the fracture and maybe to reattach the 9ct gold faces, this is fairly common with lockets of this type and age.
