PLEASE NOTE: THE ITEM HAS MANY REPAIRS ON IT - READ BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS. DESCRIPTION: A gorgeous antique solid 9ct gold star brooch, adorned with a large natural diamond and numerous seed pearls. The diamond has natural inclusions in the stone, it is approx. 0.3ct in size. The item weighs approx. 3.34g and the size dimensions are in the later photos. The item has the remnants of 9ct gold hallmarks and also tests for solid 9ct gold. PLEASE NOTE: The item has numerous lead solder repairs on it. It looks like the item has been crushed/damaged at some point in its life, it's then been pieced back together and soldered. The spikes have snapped in areas and have been lead soldered together and the bar pin at the back has been lead soldered. The item is stable and functional. Please study the pictures and satisfy yourself with the condition. I've reduced the price accordingly. If the item was in better condition I'd be asking £400-450.
