DESCRIPTION: A lovely antique solid 9ct rose gold back and front locket, with the initials "MR" engraved into the face. It opens/closes well and has the original picture retaining shims on both sides. The item weighs 4.49g and the size dimensions in the later photos. To confirm, this item is not rolled gold, it has a solid 9ct 375 gold sheet on the front and back, with gold gilt inner frame and hinge. It's stamped with a British antique registration mark and tests as explained above. The item has some minor marks on the faces as to be expected with age and use. PLEASE NOTE: The bail on the top of the locket has grooves in either side of the top, this is wear a chain has rubbed over the years (see pictures/video).
