DESCRIPTION: A stunning and rare antique Victorian solid 9ct rose gold back and front locket, with a hammered finish. The item weighs approx. 3.19g, opens/closes well and the size dimensions are in the later photos. It has the original metal picture retaining shims for both sides. To confirm, this item is not rolled gold, it has a solid 9ct 375 gold sheet on the front and back, with gold gilt internals. As to be expected with the items age, it isn't stamped/hallmarked, it tests as explained above. There is a deep groove on one edge of the locket, see picture 8.
