DESCRIPTION: A large antique art deco sterling silver and genuine blue john gemstone ring. Blue john is an extremely rare mineral and can only be found in Derbyshire in the UK (not far from me), it is in fact Britain's rarest mineral. The ring sizes at approx. UK L.5 or US 6 and is stamped "SIL". The total weight is approx. 5.57g and the size dimensions are in the latter photos. The stone has some natural inclusions on the face and beautiful contrasting tones. PLEASE NOTE: The rear of the gemstone has been heavily glued and some of the glue can be seen round the edge of the face (see pictures/video). I've reduced the price accordingly.
