DESCRIPTION: A brilliant antique Georgian solid 15ct gold mourning brooch, adorned with black enamel and a locket section (complete with mourning hair). My favourite part is the inscription on the rear, "Though lost to sigh, to memory dear". The phrase is from an old poem from the early 1700's. All of the black enamel is present and the glass is in good condition. It weighs approx. 3.07g and the size dimensions are in the later photos.
