DESCRIPTION: A lovely antique Elgin gold shell/cased locket pendant, with a beautiful pattern on the face. The item is made by Elgin and stamped with their makers mark. To confirm, the item has a gold shell/casing, this is a form of extremely thick rolled gold. It has a sheet of solid gold which has been mechanically bonded to the base metal frame. The total weight is approx. 12.52g and the size dimensions are in the later photos. The item opens/closes well and the gold finish is still in beautiful condition.
