DESCRIPTION: A beautiful antique solid 9ct yellow gold oval locket, with a shield engraved face. The locket is made completely of solid 9ct 375 gold, it's not a back and front gold locket, all the metal is solid gold including the hinge and rims. It's fully hallmarked for 9ct 375 gold, dating to 1907. It weighs approx. 2.67g in total and the size dimensions are in the later photos. The item opens/closes well and has one metal picture retaining shim on one side. The bail has some grooves where a chain has rubbed over the years, creating 2 cut outs (see picture 9). There are some dark patina marks on the gold in areas.
