DESCRIPTION: A stunning and very rare antique art nouveau solid silver silver locket, adorned with a genuine amethyst (100% tested), seed pearls and enamel. The rear of the locket has its original glass back and it opens/closes well. The front of the locket is pierced leading me to believe it could be a scent holder, but I've never seen one with a glass back, so I'm not sure. As to be expected with its age and type, it isn't stamped/hallmarked, it tests for high grade silver (800+). It weighs approx. 8.62g and the size dimensions are in the latter photos. The enamel has some minor marks and fraying to it, but overall the condition is good.
