DESCRIPTION: A beautiful antique Victorian solid silver black enamel mourning locket, decorated with gold and silver inlay. The item opens/closes well. It weighs approx. 16.68g and size dimensions in the later photos. As to be expected with the items age, it isn't stamped/hallmarked, it tests for high grade silver (800+). The item would've originally had a gold gilt finish over the silver, the finish has worn so the item now has a silvery gold hue. PLEASE NOTE: The black enamel face has numerous marks and deep scratches on it. It is also rubbed and faded in areas, see pictures/video. There is a small gap around the enamel border. I've reduced the price of the item with the damage in mind.
