DESCRIPTION: A sweet antique Victorian solid silver double monkey brooch, adorned with numerous diamond pastes and ruby paste eyes. It's rare to find a monkey brooch with it's hanging monkey, usually they're missing and it's the sitting monkey on its own. The item weighs approx. 8.14g and the size dimensions are in the latter photos. It isn't stamped/hallmarked, it tests for high grade silver (800+). As to be expected with age and use, some of the pastes have darkened or yellowed. Some may have been replaced over time.
