DESCRIPTION: A rare and beautiful antique art deco solid silver opening sarcophagus pendant/charm, inlaid with enamel. The item is finished with gold vermeil and adorned with an enamel sphynx. It opens/closes well and the enamel is in good condition. It weighs approx. 0.97g and the size dimensions are in the later photos. The item isn't stamped but it tests for 800 silver with a gold vermeil finish. As to be expected with age and use, the gold vermeil has worn showing the silver underneath.
