DESCRIPTION: A genuine antique Victorian Scottish sterling silver Montrose lace agate brooch, with a star border and a central tourmaline gemstone (100% tested). As to be expected with the items age and origin, it isn't stamped/hallmarked, it tests for sterling silver. It weighs approx. 5.16g and the size dimensions are in the latter photos. All of the agate pieces are present, some have some nibbles and fraying to the edges. The silver frame near the hinge is a little misshapen and bent. I'm not sure in the tourmaline is a later replacement.
