DESCRIPTION: A good quality antique Victorian Scottish sterling silver agate brooch. The brooch is inlaid with genuine bloodstone and red jasper and the stone in the centre is a citrine paste. It weighs approx. 6.78g and the size dimensions are in the later photos. All of the gemstone pieces are present, with no major missing sections. There are some marks as to be expected with age. As to be expected with the items age, it isn't stamped/hallmarked, it test for sterling silver. The main body is sterling silver, the gemstone claws, hinge, clasp and pin are silver plated, this was a common was of making brooches in the Victorian era.
