DESCRIPTION: A genuine antique Victorian locket, with a solid 9ct 375 gold front and back and decorated with black enamel in a crucifix shape. The locket opens/closes well, has its original glass on one side. To confirm, the locket is a 9ct back and front locket, this means the back and front are a sheet of solid 9ct gold and the rest of the locket is gold gilt base metal (frame, hinge, bail, jump ring). It weighs approx. 5.94g and the size dimensions are in the later photos. The enamel is in good condition for the items age, it's all present with some wear and scratches in areas, see pictures/video. As to be expected with the items age, it isn't stamped/hallmarked, it tests as explained above. PLEASE NOTE: There is an old lead repair on the hinge and rear face, see pictures/video. I've reduced the price accordingly.
