DESCRIPTION: A stunning antique unusually shaped-crown locket, made with a solid 9ct yellow gold front and back. It's not a rolled gold or gold filled locket, the outer faces of the locket are solid 9ct gold sheets attached to a rolled gold frame, hinge and bail. The item has been ornately hand engraved and has its original picture retaining shim on one side. It weighs approx. 7.03g, opens/closes well and the size dimensions are in the latter photos. PLEASE NOTE: The inside faces have had old lead solder repairs to them. You can see on one face where it has been perforated and the solder has been used to seal and repair. I've altered the price accordingly.
