DESCRIPTION: A stunning antique mid Victorian solid 9ct 375 rose gold intaglio fob pendant, adorned with a genuine smoky quartz gemstone (100% tested). The smoky quartz has been hand engraved with the initials "AY". It weighs approx. 5.01g. The item isn't hallmarked as to be expected with its age and type, it tests for solid 9ct gold. The small rim connecting the gemstone to the main body is gold gilt which is typical of pieces like this. They used base metal for this as it is hard wearing and makes a stronger attachment.
