DESCRIPTION: A brilliant antique early Victorian solid 9ct rose gold mourning brooch, with an opening locket section. The majority of the brooch body is made from 9ct gold and some areas are base metal i.e. pin, locket housing, inner backing etc (this was common with this type of it). It weighs approx. 2.26g and the size dimensions are in the later photos. PLEASE NOTE: The see thru front of the locket is not glass, it is a thin section of plastic which has been added at a later date.
