DESCRIPTION: A stunning and fairly large antique Victorian shield locket, made with a solid 9ct 375 gold front and back. It's not a rolled gold or gold filled locket, the outer casing of the front and back is solid 9ct 375 gold fitted to a base metal frame, hinge and bail. The item has been ornately hand engraved and has both of the picture retaining shims for both sides. It weighs approx. 5.60g, opens/closes well and the size dimensions are in the latter photos. As to be expected with the items age and design, it isn't stamped/hallmarked, it tests as explained above. PLEASE NOTE: The inside faces have scratching to them, see pictures/video.
