DESCRIPTION: A stunning antique unusually shaped shield locket, made with a solid 9ct rose gold front and back. It's not a rolled gold or gold filled locket, the outer casing of the front and back is solid 9ct gold and the frame and hinge are made from base metal. The item has been ornately hand engraved and its original picture retaining shims. It weighs approx. 3.95g, opens/closes well and the size dimensions are in the latter photos. As to be expected with the items age, it isn't hallmarked/stamped apart from a makers mark, it tests as explained above.
