DESCRIPTION: A beautiful and unique antique Victorian locket, with a solid 9ct rose gold back and front. The locket is in a shield style shape, finished with hand engraved detail around the border. To confirm, the locket has a solid 9ct 375 gold front and back, with a rolled gold base metal interior frame. It opens/closes well and and weighs approx. 14.70g. The size dimensions are in the later photos. It has the original glass on one side and picture retaining shim on one side. As to be expected with the items age, it isn't stamped/hallmarked, it tests as explained above. Most of this locket is rolled gold, the faces of the item are a sheet of solid 9ct gold. The top bail has worn with age and use.
