DESCRIPTION: A beautiful antique Victorian star style engraved locket, with a solid 9ct rose gold back and front. The locket has been intricately hand engraved on both sides. It has its original glass and mourning hair on one side and the picture retaining shim on the other. To confirm, the locket has a solid 9ct 375 gold front and back, with a rolled gold base metal interior frame. It opens/closes tightly and and weighs approx. 9.76g. The size dimensions are in the later photos. PLEASE NOTE: One of the locket faces has been repaired, the opposite side to the glass section. It looks like the face has fallen inwards, it has then been repaired using another piece of metal and solder on the inside, see pictures 6. The face is secure and strong, it does has a step in it where it originally fell inwards, see picture 7. I've reduced the price accordingly.
