DESCRIPTION: A lovely antique Victorian genuine shell cameo brooch, mounted in a solid 9ct 375 gold frame which has been attached so a solid silver pin. The cameo itself has a high relief and good detail. The item weighs approx. 4.86g and the size dimensions are in the later photos. I imagine the cameo frame was originally part of a different item, it has been attached to the solid silver pin at a later date. As to be expected with the items age, it isn't stamped/hallmarked, it tests for solid 9ct gold frame and solid silver pin.
