DESCRIPTION: A very rare antique Victorian Scottish shell cameo brooch, made from solid silver and adorned with lace agate gemstones. It's unusual to see a Victorian cameo like this to be set in a Scottish design. The item weighs approx. 13.17g and the size dimensions are in the later photos. As to be expected with the items age it isn't stamped/hallmarked, it tests for high grade silver (800+) with a gold gilt finish. PLEASE NOTE: One of the lace agate pieces has a crack in it, it's still stable (see pictures/video). One of the mounts holding the cameo is missing one tooth, the cameo is still stable. The silver has some denting on the inner rear. I've altered the price accordingly.
