DESCRIPTION: A brilliant antique Victorian gold gilt base metal and citrine paste curb link chain necklace. The pastes are large in size and have a lovely orange tone. The necklace measures approx. 40cm or 15.7" in unfastened length and weighs approx. 39.47g. As to be expected with age and use, the pastes have some chips and marks. The foil has worn on the rear of the pastes. The item would've originally had a full gold gilt/plate finish, this has mainly worn showing the brass coloured base metal underneath.
