DESCRIPTION: A stunning antique genuine pinchbeck Victorian ring, adorned with garnet tone and diamond tone pastes. To confirm, the ring is a genuine pinchbeck item, not rolled gold or gold gilt like a lot of "pinchbeck" items you see. The item genuinely looks like solid gold, but it's not its an alloy of brass, copper etc. I handle a lot off antique gold and this ring nearly fooled me for antique rose gold. The ring is stamped "NEW GOLD", which I imagine was a term used for this type of alloy. It weighs approx. 3.59g and sizes at approx. UK O or US 7.25.
