DESCRIPTION: A gorgeous and brilliant quality antique Victorian muff chain necklace, made from solid silver. The item is very long and has a good weight. It measures approx. 148cm or 58" in circumference and weighs approx. 35.98g. The chain is in good condition for its age, all the links are present. The dog clip is a modern sterling silver replacement. The chain isn't stamped which is typical of its age, it tests for high grade silver (800+). As with all muff chains with this style of curb link, the links can lock in reverse when the chain folds on its self, they just need rotating to straighten out if this happens.
