DESCRIPTION: A gorgeous and brilliant quality antique Victorian muff chain necklace, made from sterling silver. The item is very long and has a good weight. It measures approx. 156cm or 61.4" in circumference and weighs approx. 42.19g. The chain is in good condition for its age, all the links are present. It's hallmarked for sterling silver on the dog clip, dating to 1899, it also tests for sterling silver. As with all muff chains with this style of curb link, the links can lock in reverse when the chain folds on its self, they just need rotating to straighten out if this happens.
