DESCRIPTION: A beautiful antique Victorian solid silver propelling pencil, complete with a genuine citrine gemstone end (100 % tested). The item is in good working order, the nib end screws open well, the slider works (a little stiff) and the pushing rod is present. The citrine end opens as well to store extra lead nibs. As to be expected with the items age, it isn't stamped/hallmarked, it tests for high grade silver (800+). As with most pencils of this type there are areas of base metal, for example the slider section, screwing sections, nib housing etc. It weighs approx. 16.25g and size dimensions in the later photos.
