DESCRIPTION: A stunning antique early Victorian 9ct rose gold and solid silver paste bangle. The pastes are old cut and foiled on the rear. To confirm, the outer rear circumference of the bangle has a solid 9ct rose gold sheet covering the silver, this was a common was of creating jewellery in this era. The rest of the bracelet is made from high grade solid silver (800+). The bracelet measures approx. 6.2cm or 2.4" in internal diameter from hinge to clasp, therefore your wrist needs to be thinner than that for the bangle to fit. It weighs approx. 14.02g and the size dimensions are in the later photos. As to be expected with its age, it isn't stamped/hallmarked, it tests as explained above. The rose gold section on the rear has a dark stain on it. The pastes have slightly darkened/yellowed with age. The clasp has a step in it but holds and clicks shut.
