DESCRIPTION: Wow! A stunning antique Victorian solid silver diamond paste choker necklace, with chequered style links. The item has been beautifully hand made and boasts fine Victorian craftsmanship. The total unfastened length of the necklace is 40cm or 15.7", therefore the necklace is choker length. It weighs approx. 18.88g and the size dimensions are in the later photos. The clasp opens/closes well. As is typical with an item of this age, it isn't stamped/hallmarked, it tests for high grade silver (800+). As to be expected with age and use, some of the pastes have darkened and the silver has a dark patina to it.
