DESCRIPTION: An ornate antique Victorian solid silver back and front locket, which has been beautifully hand engraved. It opens/closes tightly and has the picture retaining shims on one sides. It isn't hallmarked (as to be expected with its age and design) but tests as explained above. It weighs approx. 3.41g and the size dimensions are in the later photos. To confirm, the front and back engraved panels are solid silver, the rest of the locket is silver plated. The silver plate has worn in areas, showing the base metal underneath.
