DESCRIPTION: A brilliant large and heavy antique Victorian solid silver locket, with smooth polished faces on both sides (quite rare and unusual). It opens/closes well and has the metal picture retaining shims on both sides. The total weight is 29.51g and the size dimensions are in the later photos. As to be expected with the items age, it isn't stamped/hallmarked, it tests for high grade silver (800+). It has the glass and metal shim on one side. PLEASE NOTE: The silver on the faces has dark marks in areas that are difficult to polish. It has a fissure on one face and there is an old lead repair to a hole on the same side (see pictures/video). I've reduced the price accordingly.
