DESCRIPTION: A lovely antique Victorian Scottish solid silver brooch, inlaid with various forms of quartz gemstone, including bloodstone, red jasper and blue lace agate. The brooch isn't hallmarked (which is typical of antique Scottish jewellery) but tests for sterling silver. All of the gemstone pieces are present and some have some minor chipping on the edges, see pictures/video. It weighs approx. 4.99g and the size dimensions are in the later photos. PLEASE NOTE: The hinge has been reattached at some point in the items life. It also looks like there used to something in the centre of the brooch, maybe a gemstone. You can see holes in the sides of the internal rim where an item may have been fixed, see pictures/video. I've reduced the price accordingly.
