DESCRIPTION: A superb antique sterling silver albert chain necklace, with curb links, dog clip and T bar. The curb links are hallmarked with the British sterling silver lion passant, which shows age and quality. The dog clip is hallmarked, dating to 1916. The chain measures approx. 43cm or 17" in unfastened length and weighs 41.58g. It has been extended near the dog clip using cable links. As to be expected with the items age, some of the links have worn etc.
