DESCRIPTION: A stunning genuine antique Victorian vulcanite crucifix pendant. The overall condition is good, with no major cracks or chips. Vulcanite (or ebonite as it's sometimes called) is an antique hard rubber, it was made by vulcanising rubber for long period of time which in turn makes it very hard. The material was used in jewellery and to simulate Whitby Jet in a lot of circumstances. The item weighs approx. 5.87g and the size dimensions are in the later photos.
