DESCRIPTION: A genuine Whitby jet bead necklace, with graduating beads which has been hand cut. The beads are genuine antique pieces and the item looks like it has been restrung at some point. The clasp is a modern sterling silver gold plated addition, it's stamped "SS" for sterling silver. The necklace measures approx. 49cm or 19.2" in unfastened length. It weighs approx. 35.68g and the size dimensions are in the latter photos. PLEASE NOTE: Some of the Whitby jet pieces are chipped, some worse than others (see pictures). One of the beads has been replaced with an antique French jet (glass) replacement (see picture 8). I've altered the price accordingly.
