DESCRIPTION: A gorgeous pair of rare antique Victorian genuine Whitby jet earrings, adorned with hand painted blue panels. The earrings are real Victorian Whitby jet earrings and are not repro or upcycled. They weigh a combined total of approx. 4.18g and the size dimensions are in the later photos. The hooks are made from base metal. PLEASE NOTE: There are numerous patches of glue attaching the hand painted to the Whitby jet, see pictures/video. I've reduced the price accordingly. The round body section which the hand painted pieces are glued to is Whitby jet. The dome shaped section which the hooks are connected is some form of antique rubber, maybe vulcanite,
