DESCRIPTION: A genuine vintage solid 9ct gold blue john necklace pendant. The pendant is hallmarked for 9ct gold, dating to 1986. It weighs 1.61g and the size dimensions are in the later photos. One side of blue john has a few minor chips to it's edge (see pictures), I can't tell if these are inclusions or minor chips, I'll let you make your mind up. Blue john is an extremely rare mineral and can only be found in Derbyshire in the UK (not far from me), it's in fact Britain's rarest mineral.
