DESCRIPTION: A beautiful vintage genuine Mikimoto triple strand cultured pearl necklace, with sterling silver clasp. The clasp bears the Mikimoto makers mark, is stamped "SILVER" and opens/closes well. The overall condition is good, the coating of the pearls is still strong and has a nice pearlescent hue to it, there are some marks as to be expected with a vintage item. The largest pearl measures approx. 6.4mm in diameter and the smallest measures 3mm in diameter. The necklace measures approx. 36.5cm or 14.3" in unfastened length, therefore is a choker. It weighs approx. 35.48g. Some of the knots near the end have darkened with age and the metal string protectors have some verdigris.
